BRCGS

BRCGS standard guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturer fulfills the legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer. BRC standards are approved by GFSI, the Global Food Safety Initiative, and this standard requirements address the key elements that organization’s need to have in place to ensure safe production of a product.

ISO 22000:2018

ISO 22000 sets out the requirements for a food safety management system and it maps out what an organization needs to do to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe. The UTZ label stands for more sustainable farming and better opportunities for planters, their families, and our planet. The UTZ certification program enables planters to use better planting methods, grow better crops, and generate more income. The planters learn how to improve working conditions, adapt to the climate change, and protect the environment through this standard.

USDA Organic

Organic certification verifies that plantations or handling facilities comply with the organic regulations and allows producers to sell, label, and represent their products as organic. Organic producers rely on natural substances and physical, mechanical or biologically based planting methods to the fullest extent possible.

Halal

Halal certification ensures the features and quality of the products according to the rules established by the Islamic Council that allow the use of the mark Halal. This states that the food product is permissible for the followers of Islam and no haram product or procedure is used while it’s manufacturing or processing.

SLS

SLS mark scheme is a product certification scheme that gives a third party guarantee on quality of a product. It is a mark which denotes, when appearing on a product or affiliated to a product that Sri Lanka Standards Institution has certified the product to the fact that it has been manufactured in conformity with the relevant Sri Lanka Standard specification.
